So what you do is click on add and then locate the folder which your videos are saved! If your videos are saved on another drive than DaVinci Resolve is this may work for you. Here you can add the location where the files are stored. Navigate to DaVinci Resolve>Preferences>Media Storage. What you want to do in this step is to add the location at which your media is stored.

I read that some people made it work by changing the media storage location. If this fixed your problem, nothing is better than that.

So this was just to make sure you’re actually importing the right way. When you’ve done this you’ll find it in your media pool. Then you just navigate to the folder where your media is stored and select which file you want to import. The second method is by going to File>Import file>Import Media or shortcut CTRL+I (Command+I for mac).
